The release of the Democrats' memo was a bit anti-climatic. The Republican Memo was released in its entirety and without redactions, of course.
But Devin Nunes and #BenedictDonald made sure that the playing field would not be level; they delayed the release of the Democrats' follow up and redacted the shit out of it in a vain effort to blunt its impact.
Even so, the memo makes it crystal-clear that the Nunes Memo was a crock of deceptive and deeply partisan shit.
So much has been written about it that I'm not going to add much. I merely want to say that the back and forth about the memos is just one more thing that perfectly illustrates how deceitful and treacherous Rethuglicans have become. Their lies, deceit, and scorched earth tactics were completely out of control before tRump was installed and have since become mind-numbingly bad.
Repugs can practice this bizarro smoke-and-mirrors stuff all they want. It's not going to convince the American public that tRump is fit to hold the highest office in the land or that he got to the White House in a legit way.
A majority of Americans saw these things clearly on the day that orange shit-gibbon assumed power; that majority grows larger with each passing day. People are jumping off the tRump train faster than fleas jumping off a dead dog.
The time when all but the most die-hard trumpists see him for the thuggish and incompetent con man that he is is fast approaching. The ones who've quaffed gallons and gallons of his vile-tasting Kool Aid will hang on to the bitterest of ends. But it's all good.
We will get rid of this moronic and mendacious buffoon. Reversing the damage he's done to the Republic will take a while, but America's up to the task.
The noose around this pretender's neck is tightening. The Mueller investigation is proceeding apace. And tRump will be impeached, removed via the 25th Amendment or will resign of his own volition before the mid-term elections are here on November 6th.
